Sgt. Diana Mills graduated from Mott College and then

attended the Delta Community College Police Academy.

She graduated from the Police Academy and joined

the Mt. Morris Township Police Department in 1994.

Diana started her career in patrol and in 2000, she

transferred into the Detective Bureau.  During her

assignment within the Detective Bureau, she took on

the role as Court Officer, where she was responsible for

reviewing all of the criminal complaints before they

were presented to the Genesee County Prosecutor's Office.

This prepared her for the rank of Detective where, after a

significant amount of training, she found her specialty in

investigating criminal sexual conduct cases involving children.

After 14 years as a Detective, Diana was promoted to the rank

of Sergeant where she supervises a road patrol unit and is

a team member with the Crisis Intervention Team.
